Job Description:
- Design
the 3D model of harness routing of the vehicle
- Validation
of the work sheet inputs and receive necessary data /Clarification for
Harness routing.
- Define
the harness paths and component fixations in accordance with defined
Harness Rules
- Harness
bundle Diameter & fixation distance calculations
- Selection
and location of functional protection (mechanical and heat) shields
and various harness components
- Realize
Excel Flattening or 3D Flattening Drawings.
- Prepare
Bill of Materials and Project documentation
Skill set :
- Working Experience in wiring Harness
routing using Catia V5 for Passenger cars & commercial vehicles
- Experience in working with CAD tools
- Knowledge or working experience in any of Product Data management (GDG) tools
- Good knowledge on harness components like Connectors , wires, relays, fuse, protections, supports etc
- Understanding of vehicle electrical architecture
- Experience in vehicle development program and DFMEA
- Experience in Harness Manufacturing process and Product Development is desired
- Basic knowledge in electrical concepts is desired
