Citrix SME/Architect:
This position involves problem determination and implementation of changes to hardware and/or software, provide highest level of support. Tasks consist of the most complex and non-standard work and require independent thought and problem solving to resolve.
Role:
- Support all aspects of Citrix design, performance-monitoring, tuning, scripting, upgrades and maintenance of all production Citrix systems.
- Work to standardize repeatable tasks and steps across multiple accounts within a team while providing coaching and mentoring to the junior team members. This may require creating documentation and/or scripts that can be used to solve the same problem in the future.
- L3/L4 experience level in managing Citrix XenApp Environments & PVS
Skills Required:
- Minimum 5+ years of experience Citrix virtualization technology, including XenApp, Provisioning Services, XenDesktop.
- Experience in designing, managing, monitoring, scaling, and implementing large enterprise level Citrix desktop and application virtualization environments spanning multiple data centers and geographical regions.
- Experience in Application packaging and change management methodologies.
- Knowledge of Scripting Languages such as (VBS, PowerShell Scripting & Batch Scripting) to customize Packages & Applications to meet client specifications.
- Experience with Microsoft Active Directory and Windows 2003/2008 Server.
- Knowledge of data center design and infrastructure.
