Job Description:
The Software developer role is to create and maintain enterprise software applications used across the organization. They are typically web applications created using various Microsoft technologies. A penchant for new developments in the industry is a must. Good interpersonal skills are required for effective communication with the Business and Development teams.
Mandatory Skills / Requirement:
- Strong experience in developing applications using ASP.Net, C#, MVC, WCF, ADO.Net and Entity Framework
- Should have understanding and experience of software development best practices.
- Should have experience working in multi-tiered architecture
- Should be well versed with object oriented concepts and UML
- Experience in design patterns is a big plus
- Experience with .Net 4.0/4.5 is desirable
- Must have experience in database design and development using SQL 2005/2008
- Should be familiar with performance tuning and debugging tools
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment with global teams
- Ability to conceptualize, document and present creative solutions
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Candidate should be willing to work in US timings.

- Knowing how to use a Query Analyzer or optimization tool
- Understanding Transactions
- Understanding Indexes as optimization tool
- Bulk operations: loading or exporting large amounts of data
- Preventing performance degradation through various maintenance tasks
- Deployment strategies, failure protection, from simple backup to hot standbys
