- Manage work from various project scheduling, allocation and completion departments
- Responsible for quality and timely delivery of all projects
- Must validate all designs and drawings completely before review/release to customer
- Ability to design new products/update existing designs
- Continuous skill up gradation - for self and team members
- Responsible for team members retention and morale
- Suggest improvements to existing processes and procedures
- Fully conform to company vision, policies and processes
Essential Skills
- Fundamental understanding of mechanical design principles
- Knowledge of GD&T and tolerance analysis
- Exposure to hydraulic design and controls
- Expertise in one major CAD system
- Exposure to good QC processes in design
- Project management experience
- Demonstrated leadership ability
- Excellent communications skills in English

Education and Experience required

- Education (min) B. E./ B. Tech Desired Masters Degree
Role
- Manage a small team of engineers in design activities
- Exposure to manufacturing - casting and machining
- Exposure to good project management processes
- Overseas stint for min. of one year (at customer location)
