Sr. Engineer - Testing

Key Responsibilities

• Perform and report on standardized tests for actuator's electronic and software designs
• Create additional tests in line with changes to hardware and/or software
• Coordinate with global engineering teams on test design, scheduling and reporting
• Help in troubleshooting customer problems as required
• Manage and maintain all the infrastructure required for testing
• Work with team members effectively to complete allocated work
• Follow all established processes and procedures
• Suggest improvements to existing processes and procedures
• Fully conform to company vision, policies and processes

Essential Skills

• LabView programming experience
• Sound knowledge of electronics
• Exposure to communication theory and network protocols (Modbus, Profibus, DeviceNet, Foundation Fieldbus)
• Experience with automated testing (whitebox/blackbox)
• Good verbal, written communication skills in English
• Great attention to detail
• Commitment to personal excellence

• Disciplined work ethic

Essential Skills
LabView certification

• Test script development
• Knowledge of programming in C
• Knowledge of any one foreign language (German/Italian/Spanish/French)

Education & Experience Required

• Minimum (years) 5 Maximum (years) 8
• Education (min) B. E./ B. Tech Desired Masters Degree

• Must have worked in process automation/Controls and Instrumentation industry
• Created and maintained tests for automation hardware and software
• Exposure to commissioning / start up of automation projects
