We are looking for minimum 7 to 10 years of exp in Application server admin.

Unix/Linux,Apache/Tomcat,Jboss,Java concept are the skills we require in the candidate

Job Description

• JBoss Admin with Level 2 Support.Configuration & Troubleshooting of Apache, Tomcat, JBoss.
• Basic knowledge of Linux operating system.
• Profound knowledge in JBoss4.X, 5.x & 7.x and Tomcat.
• Has good knowledge on Middleware architecture.
• Good at the Installation, configuration, and maintenance of JBoss and Apache/Tomcat family of products.
• Should have experience in Upgrades from lower version to higher version.
• The datasource subsystem - Understand database connection pools and strong knowledge on datasource subsystem configuration.
• The logging subsystem - Configure the logging subsystem, including configuring the built-in handlers and loggers.
• The web subsystem - Configure the HTTP and HTTPS Connectors, and configure an AJP Connector.
• Fine tuning of JBoss server - e.g. HeapMemory, Garbage Collection, logging-enable/disable etc.
• Taking Heap Dump, Thread Dump, list Thread Cpu Utilization etc.
• Good to deploys applications, migrates, performance tunes, troubleshoots and resolves application services, maintains security, and automates routine procedures through scripting.
• Experience supporting on JBoss and Apache/Tomcat family of products family of products in clustered environments for high availability including performance tuning.
• Strong analytical, problem solving, communication and presentation skills. Candidate must be a strong team player.
• Basic knowledge of Shell scripting.
• Basic knowledge of Networking concepts.

Required skills

1. Total experience should be between 5 – 7 years.
2. Experience using  ClearCase /GIT  - 1- 2yrs.
3. Middleware – WebSphere/ JBoss/ Weblogic (deployment experience /administration) - 1-2yrs.
4. Experience in build automation tools – ANT, MAVEN,  -1-2yrs.
5. Development experience in Java in initial phase of career(preferable).
6. Scripting in Python, Jython /Perl – 1-2yrs.
