JOB PURPOSE
- To sell the company’s all security lighting range systems
- To sell solar PV systems range >1KW Grid connected / off Grid systems (with & with out battery back up systems)
- To sell all range of Solar Water Pumping systems
- To sell all range of Solar Petrol Bunk solution systems
- To sell all kind of special designed solar systems & Solar related spares
- To sell all ranges of >1000LPD Thermal systems
- To sell solar system for boiler and hot water generator feed water preheat application.
- To sell swimming pool heating systems.
- To work effectively with the RBMs / retail branch managers and sales engineers to identify leads for such above ranges of projects systems / spares, and to coordinate closely with the branch in getting site surveys, offering proposals, and closing the sale, and collecting the money
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITY
- To ensure that monthly targets for leads generated (site surveys), orders booked, sales invoiced, and collections are achieved
- To sell within the stipulated guidelines on money collection
- To initially focus heavily on Solite sales, as a cost-effective solution for security lighting for many commercial customers and institutions
- To focus & sell all ranges of Thermal systems to different kind of institutions & commercial applications.
- To build skills in effective Solectric design / selling, using the load calculation and energy efficiency management as a key tool for selling
- To pursue leads provided through the retail sales channel, collect site surveys, develop proposals, and close the sale in coordination with retail branch managers
- To personally conduct site visits to assess the technical feasibility of the product being offered
- To recommend innovative solutions that meet customer requirements within their budget
- To develop clear proposals that are neat, and easy for the customer to understand – conveying professionalism and attention to detail
- To monitor that installations are proceeding on time, and to the customer’s satisfaction
- To ensure overall customer satisfaction with the working of the entire system
- To provide weekly reports to the GM Projects as per the template provided
EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
- 6-8 years of sales experience
- Ideally a degree or diploma in electrical engineering / BE or MBA degree is preferred
- Prior experience in selling PV systems / Thermal systems is preferred
- A self-starter with fresh ideas, and lots of initiative
- A clear grasp of commercial issues, in addition to technical
- A proven ability to deliver projects on time and within budget
- A team-player
- Able to travel at short notice
