Sales & Business Development Leader - Japan

Responsibilities

  • Analyze e-commerce and logistics industry trends and client needs. 
  • Develop and execute upon strategic client account plans, including but not limited to the building of sustainable relationships with leading target industry clients in Japan 
  • Work with clients product experts to develop and deliver innovative warehouse automation solutions for our clients. 
  • Lead and grow a team of sales managers to “hunt” for new sales prospects and close opportunities. 
  • Provide inputs to Marketing so as to define and execute upon sales campaigns, with the ultimate goal of increasing sales. 
  • Help develop case studies and references of successful implementations to facilitate scalable sharing of insights with customers across the organisation. 
  • Identify and close deals within other relevant target markets and industries. 
  • Work with limited resources, thrive in environments with rapidly-evolving process or structure. 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelors, Masters or MBA 
  • 8 plus years of regional B2B sales in industry-leading companies in IT, Consulting or Solution Sales; track record of business development in Japan 
  • Track record of relationship building across customer organizational levels. 
  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal and writing skills. 
  • Excellent business acumen and problem-solving skills. 
  • Business Proficiency in English and Japanese. 
  • Troubleshoot problems and communicate effectively across time zones and cultures. 
  • Ready to travel on short notice; flexibility to be outstation over weekends will be a plus.

Manager Sales – PV / Thermal Projects @ Vizag, Andhra Pradesh

Manager – PV / Thermal Projects

Reports To: GM – Project Sales  

JOB PURPOSE
  • To sell the company’s all security lighting range systems
  • To sell solar PV systems range >1KW Grid connected / off Grid systems (with & with out battery back up systems)
  • To sell all range of Solar Water Pumping systems
  • To sell all range of Solar Petrol Bunk solution systems
  • To sell all kind of special designed solar systems & Solar related spares
  • To sell all ranges of >1000LPD Thermal systems  
  • To sell solar system for boiler and hot water generator feed water preheat application.
  • To sell swimming pool heating systems.
  • To work effectively with the RBMs / retail branch managers and sales engineers to identify leads for such above ranges of projects systems / spares, and to coordinate closely with the branch in getting site surveys, offering proposals, and closing the sale, and collecting the money

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITY
  • To ensure that monthly targets for leads generated (site surveys), orders booked, sales invoiced, and collections are achieved
  • To sell within the stipulated guidelines on money collection
  • To initially focus heavily on Solite sales, as a cost-effective solution for security lighting for many commercial customers and institutions
  • To focus & sell all ranges of Thermal systems to different kind of institutions & commercial applications.
  • To build skills in effective Solectric design / selling, using the load calculation and energy efficiency management as a key tool for selling
  • To pursue leads provided through the retail sales channel, collect site surveys, develop proposals, and close the sale in coordination with retail branch managers
  • To personally conduct site visits to assess the technical feasibility of the product being offered
  • To recommend innovative solutions that meet customer requirements within their budget
  • To develop clear proposals that are neat, and easy for the customer to understand – conveying professionalism and attention to detail
  • To monitor that installations are proceeding on time, and to the customer’s satisfaction
  • To ensure overall customer satisfaction with the working of the entire system
  • To provide weekly reports to the GM Projects as per the template provided

EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
  • 6-8 years of sales experience
  • Ideally a degree or diploma in electrical engineering / BE or MBA degree is preferred
  • Prior experience in selling PV systems / Thermal systems is preferred
  • A self-starter with fresh ideas, and lots of initiative
  • A clear grasp of commercial issues, in addition to technical
  • A proven ability to deliver projects on time and within budget
  • A team-player 
  • Able to travel at short notice

Hiring Business Development- AGM/ DGM (Regulatory Division) of an Independent Power Producer

PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF THE POSITION:
Accountable for making the BDG team aware of various regulations pertaining to electricity supply, distribution, open access and others

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
