Responsibilities:
- Overall vehicle cost tracking and governance throughout the vehicle program life which include:
- Key person to maintain uniformity in the updated cost & continuous monitoring
- Track overall vehicle cost (Tracked Vehicle Reports) & escalate cost variation
- Vehicle Check Book Management
- Support Purchasing in component piece and Investment target costs
- Update Status, Target cost including Risk & Opportunity in web portal & post verification
- Manage all changes to the component cost & investment by corporate change management process
- Coordinate with Engineering teams regarding roll up of Engineering change cost
Basic
Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in Engineering/Industrial Engineering from an accredited university
- Min 8 years of automotive experience and a min 3 year experience in vehicle cost engineering
- Knowledge about vehicle manufacturing process and familiarity of components and their approximate costs
- Good written and verbal communication skills (Oral & Written)
- Excellent MS Office skills (Excel, Power point is a must)
Preferred
Qualifications:
- 10-12 years of Automobile OEM/ Automotive ancillary industry experience
- Experienced on vehicle manufacturing processes
- MS Excel Macros and MS Access
